Snow Quartz Spheres with Internal Rainbow Shimmers

Soft, snowy white with a little secret inside, these polished snow quartz spheres hold delicate internal rainbow shimmers that are wonderfully camera-shy. Their milky cloudiness gives them a gentle glow, while turning them in the light reveals small flashes of color within. The rainbows are subtle and angle-dependent, so they may not appear clearly in every photo or from every viewpoint. Set yours on a favorite shelf or beside your crystals, and enjoy taking a quiet moment to discover its hidden shimmer.

Material Makeup
Snow quartz, also known as milky quartz, is a variety of quartz composed of silicon dioxide. Tiny inclusions scatter light and contribute to its cloudy white appearance. Internal rainbow effects in quartz can occur when light interacts with internal fractures, revealing flashes of color at particular angles. Read more about this crystal in our Crystal Encyclopedia.
