Sunstone is a feldspar mineral that forms in igneous rocks as molten rock slowly cools beneath the Earth's surface. Tiny plate-like inclusions of minerals such as hematite, goethite, or copper create a sparkling effect known as aventurescence, which gives Sunstone its warm glow and shimmering appearance.
