Moss Agate is a variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of Quartz, that contains mineral inclusions resembling moss, ferns, branches, or other plant-like shapes. These green inclusions are typically formed by minerals such as manganese or iron. Despite its name, Moss Agate does not contain actual organic material.
