Kunzite

Physical Formation
Kunzite is the pink to lilac variety of the mineral spodumene. It forms in large crystal-bearing pegmatites where magma cools slowly, allowing sizable crystals to develop. Trace amounts of manganese within the crystal structure are responsible for Kunzite's beautiful pink coloration.
