Azurite

Physical Formation
Azurite is a copper carbonate mineral that forms when copper-rich deposits are exposed to oxygen, water, and carbon dioxide near the Earth's surface. It is often found alongside Malachite, and the two minerals frequently occur together in the same deposits. Azurite's deep blue color makes it one of the most recognizable copper minerals in the world.
